Matcha Raw Chocolate 抹茶生巧

Friends say this homemade matcha raw chocolate tastes better than Royce’ Nama chocolate!

You’ll be impressed how easy it is to make.

 

Ingredients:

250g (8.8oz) Valrhona Ivoire 35% white chocolate, can cut into smaller pieces

10g matcha powder

100g heavy cream

20g unsalted butter

Pinch of salt

 

Instructions:

1.     Line a baking mold/ glass container with parchment paper.

2.     Melt small white chocolate chunks in a bowl over boiling water.  (Double boiler method). Remove from heat and stir until smooth (Better with a whisk).

3.     Sift in matcha powder, stir till fully incorporated.

4.     Warm up heavy cream in a sauce pan over medium low heat until slightly bubbling.

5.     Pour the heavy cream into white chocolate mixture.

6.     Mix in salt and butter until silky and smooth.

7.     Pour the mixture in the mold/ container. Let cool then refrigerate, covered, for at least 6 hours.

8.     Cut the raw chocolate into small pieces

9.     Dust with matcha powder before serving.
